Some would say that when I honestly decided I wanted to be a writer I had went insane, that I was insane; deliver me from those who say that I am not. Writers are insane. Writers are so insane that they have the ability to take their insanity and make sense of it; to show it in their writing and whether their readers realize it or not, it’s there. The proof of every writers’ insantity will be in their writing.

I’m not sure if I could be a writer if some part of me wasn’t mentally… not right. I wouldn’t be willing to do or go through what it takes to be a writer. I wouldn’t have had the guts, after having sevens of having nothing published, to still have been able to call myself a writer; to believe that one day I would see my words in print. Call me crazy and I’ll smile and say, “What else did you expect?”
